You can also ask the administration of your school to help you financially and in exchange you can display brochures and communicate about the school because you must not forget that the Edhec Boat Cup is the biggest European sporting event FOR STUDENTS… the best place for informal communication with students!
Schools usually have a big communication budget and you could present the project as a way to communicate about your school! As International students, you will be able to display brochures and posters of your school under the international club, you will also be able to hold a stand on the village for half a day for free, it is also possible to buy a stand for a full week for 2000 euros.
Besides that, some schools like to sponsor their students because it is a professionalizing project! However if you want to introduce the project to your school you need to go prepared and set up a real file! If you need help to set it up do not hesitate to call us.
Aside from your school, do not forget to go and present your project to the city council. They may also be interested if they have a communication budget. Keep in mind that the students who are coming to the Edhec Boat Cup come from a lot of places in France, Europe and even the world and those students are used to travel and to make up plans to go abroad in groups to visit so your city could be interesting in introducing the sights of the region through brochures and posters that you can then hang and distribute during the week !!!
Remember: the best way to raise funds is to combine all the ideas that we give you : private sponsoring, institutional sponsoring and without sponsors.
