How to participate to the 42nd Sea Trophy ?
As an international crew you have NO restriction, you can either form a crew with students from your university or from other one; from your own country or from other country, the more international you are, the best it is!The practical detail of the package:What we do for you:- Rent a boat- Find you accommodation for the number of people you want- Registration fees- Unlimited access to the international club, to the parties during the week.
Details about the international club
An 75 m2 space located in the center of the village and exclusively for the international crews. It is a place where you can rest after the regattas, where you will rush to during the tasting evening events, where you will have access to the web and where you will always found a member of our organization to answer your questions.
The international boarding
The international boarding is the most convenient one as it is the closest to the village of the edhec boat cup. International students will surround you and you won’t need more than a couple minutes to come under the international club.
What is really exclusive about the international package ?
- A discount of 50% of the registration fees
- A quasi total take care of you week by our organization.
The different trophies:
This year, you will have the possibility to choose two trophies between the following:
- 100% students trophy: if students, including the skipper, only compose your boat you can subscribe to this trophy.
-The international trophy:this trophy is exclusively for the boat with at least 50% of foreigners.
- 100% female trophy: this is a trophy for boat entirely composed by women, including the skipper.

The documents you need to participate :
1) A license from the national federation of your country
If you don’t have any license for 2010, we can provide you one, you will have to ask for it when you register for the race and the price will be added to your package price.
CAUTION: you will be asked some details (age, sexes full name birth date), you should be very careful filling this up because once the license is printed, no modification can be done! If there is a mistake you will have to buy another one! You can also buy a license from the French federation directly at the beginning of the race in April.
Pricing
Adult fee for a French federation license 46,80 euros
Underage fee for a French license (under 18 year old) 23,40 euros
Daily license fee 9,30 euros
Temporary license for 4 day 22,80 euros
2) Advertising authorization

Pieces of advise to help you in your project
You can create a booklet with the detailed budget you need, (registration fee, boat renting, accommodation, transport, licenses, advertising authorization, equipment, skipper….), some interesting data about the race, the way your partners are going to be able to communicate (flocking, stands, cocktails…)
The areas you have the right to flock:
- The hull: the back of the hull (external part of the hulls for the catamarans, bridge, roof, and cockpit
- The sail: the bottom part of the main course and the entire spinnaker
- The mast: the inferior third
- The club: the back half
You should talk to the people you know who work in big firms about your project, also the firms related to your studies…You will soon find on this web site a page with all the fees for 2010, a document to help you find partners !
