Our sustainable commitments
For three years now, the EDHEC Sailing Cup has committed to an eco-friendly approach to reduce its’ impact on the environment. Thus, since the realization of a carbon assessment by EcoRes we have set up different tools to associate both participants and partners to our commitments.
The implementation of the EcoCup enabled us to significantly reduce waste on the Village during the week of competition by including participants to our action. In the same field, the “Marché Frais Terre et Saveur” offers crews seasonal fruit and vegetables so they can have a balanced diet.
For its 44th edition, the EDHEC Sailing Cup renews its commitment to keep on reducing its ecological footprint. Within the organizing team, the members of the association only use recycled paper. Several projects are under construction to keep on having a green Cup.
